Dracula, A Rock Opera is a HIT!

Dracula and his wives

It has been almost a week since Dracula, A Rock Opera opened to the public and the response has been wonderful.  Many people have expressed their thoughts and opinions about this production and I thought I would share some quotes from our patrons…

“Dracula is the best musical, and possibly the best show I have seen at Meadow Brook, and I have attended performances since 1966. I felt that I was in one of our renouned local theaters viewing a polished national touring company. I have never seen a stronger cast; there was not a weak voice in the house.”

“This is the best performance yet! I’ve seen many plays at Meadow Brook but this one really proves the talent of all the actors of the Meadow Brook theatre. This is a MUST to see and hear!”

“The singing is outstanding, especially Paul Hopper and Katie Hardy, who literally become their characters. The scene with Lucy, in the cemetery singing the seductive love song to the little girl, is so eerie, but absolutely a show stopper!!”

“Fantastic show, just the right mix of camp and drama, great acting.”

“I have never seen anything like it on the Meadow Brook stage. What an excellent cast! The singing, scenery, props, lighting, direction, special effects and costumes were superb. What an ambitious undertaking! Congratulations, everyone!”

“This will be the best musical to hit this area this season, not to be missed.”

“Great show! A wonderful cast with surprising effects make this new musical version of an old story a delight to see!!”

“Never had so much fun at a play!”

If you’d like to share your thoughts on the show there is a link on our website at www.mbtheatre.com.

There are only three weeks left of the show… come see it before it’s too late!  Tickets can be purchased at http://www.ticketmaster.com or by calling the box office at 248-377-3300.  Come join us on this energetic thrill ride!

See you at the theatre!
